Message From: The Lithuanian Education and Science Trade Union (LESTU)

A Video Leeson on Ukrainian History, to be Broadcast February 28th

Dear Colleagues,

The Lithuanian Education and Science Trade Union (LESTU) is starting a campaign in Lithuanian schools to support Ukraine.

We invite teachers of all subjects and leaders of educational institutions on February 28 (Monday), at 8 p.m. to dedicate together their first lesson on the support for Ukraine and history of Ukraine

On this day, Audrius Jurgelevičius, Deputy chairperson of the LESTU and a history teacher, will give a remote history lesson on Ukraine -- about a century of history, and the roots of statehood.  We will broadcast the lesson live online.

We invite you to express your support for Ukraine and ask you to photo lesson moments, and then send an image to e-mail info@svietimoporfsajunga.lt

These photos, along with a declaration of support and solidarity will be sent to the Ukrainian educational community.

It is very important that we are united. We can't allow the history to be rewritten.

Again, you can find a link to the distance learning lesson here: https://www.facebook.com/events/671815434008293?ref=newsfeed

Please share this information with all your colleagues!

If you need more information, you are free to contact me!

Yours faithfully,
Egle Zukauskaite
